hi Dr. Callahan!
Robin Goldberg-Glen
35:33
At what stage of the students education do you recommend sending out an invitation and does everyone use the 3.5 gpa requirement?
Deb Svoboda (she/her)
39:14
to the panel: how do you advertise the honor society when the eligibility is at top 35% of the program?
Elaine Rinfrette
42:06
We get the GPA needed to meet the top 35% requirement rule before we send out the advertisement and application to students to apply for Phi Alpha membership
Ann Callahan
43:25
Does anyone have a BSW/MSW combined group? If a student was a Phi Alpha member as a BSW student, is the student only required to pay the membership fee to return to active member status?
Kendal Carswell
43:40
will you say again at what stage you start inviting students to apply?
Ratonia Runnels
43:54
We advertise to all students as they enter the program. Those who are ineligible often work toward the GPA requirement to get there before graduation.
Courtney O'Mealley (he, him)
44:21
Due to FERPA challenges, how are others utilizing the leaders when we cannot give them access to the list to aid in recruitment of those who are eligible?
pattienishimoto
45:09
Do students struggle with the decision to join because of the membership fee? Our students struggle with coming with the fees.
Laura Racovita
45:44
@Pattienishimoto - That has been a challenge for us as well.
Mamadou Seck
46:23
If candidates are admitted the first year and then did not graduate, what would happen
pattienishimoto
46:30

How are certificates dealt with during COVID? Are there such a thing as virtual certificates?
Ann Callahan
51:45
I may have missed this but what is the range for Chapter dues?
Hailey
51:51
Addie, do you allow the professors to pick their topic or do you choose a topic and try to find faculty who would be interested in talking about the topic?
pattienishimoto
54:30
Field instructors are also great for presentations.
Donna Cherry
54:30
